A selection of 57' Pacific Car & Foundry mechanical reefers, one of the most widely used refrigerator cars of its type.  These cars were seen all over North America from the late 1960's onward.  Very few of these cars remain in service today, save for those which have been rebuilt with more efficient refrigeration units.
